| Activities Around the World |
| Patriot Group volunteers are doing wonderful things around the world to aid in our commitment to humanity. Cavan, Ireland *The Patriot Group’s Capt. Fuentes, Lt. Reilly, BC O’Flaherty, and Jerry Reilly Jr. traveled to Cavan, Ireland to present a seminar regarding the rescue operations on September 11th, 2001. All donations were made to the Cavan Children’s Burn Center. Thailand *The Patriot Group’s own Caitlin Fuentes, daughter of Capt. Fuentes, has recently returned home from Thailand, visiting areas that were devastated by the tsunami in December. Through Caitlin, The Patriot Group was able to directly donate money by hand to the people of Phi Phi Island, one of the islands most devastated by the tsunami. Caitlin was deeply moved by a specific organization working on the island, Hi Phi Phi (Help International Phi Phi). The Patriot Group has identified Hi Phi Phi as a legitimate non-profit organization which donates 100 percent of their funds to restoring the once beautiful island, and who’s members have a tremendous dedication to build Phi Phi Island into the paradise it once was. Africa’s widespread poverty and disease is a tremendous problem in our world today. Jerry is currently living with a family in Niger, training to learn the language and customs of the people. The Patriot Group thanks Jerry for his commitment to humanity and strongly supports him during his time in Africa. Cadet Keilty is beginning his long journey, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Captain Michael Keilty, a graduate of West Point, who just finished his tour of duty in Iraq. The Patriot Group is extremely proud of Timmy and Michael for their dedication to our country and to humanity. |
